An act to amend and re-enact section six of an act approved
March twenty-third, eighteen hundred and seventy-one, to
amend the charter of Fredericksburg.

§ 6. The council shall have power to provide a revenue for
the town and appropriate the same, and for that purpose the
comnuissioner of the revenue shall make an annual assessment
yf taxable persons and property within the town, such as is or
nay hereafter be subject to taxation by the revenue laws of
his commonwealth, and also on dogs and other animals.
