1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for the Atlantic, Mississippi, and Ohio rail-
road company to construct and operate a branch of their road
to and within the corporate limits of the city of Richmond,
and for this purpose, shall be entitled to, all the privileges and
subject to all the restrictions of the Code of Virginia of eighteen
hundred and sixty.
2. It shall be lawful for the said Atlantic, Mississippi, and
Ohio railroad company, in furtherance of the objects of this
act, to contract with any railroad company leading into or out
of the city of Richmond, for any use of such railroad com-
pany’s franchise, right of way, or roadway and works, which
may be necessary in and to the same.
3. ‘This act shall be in force from its passage.
