Chap. 17.—An ACT Extending the Time for Robert E. Cummings, Land
Assessor of Washington county, to Make his Returns.

Approved December 22, 1870.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That Robert E.
Cummings, one of the assessors of Washington county, ap-
pointed under the act approved July the ninth, eighteen hun-
dred and seventy, entitled an act providing for the re-assessment
of the lands throughout the commonwealth, and the act
amendatory thereto, shall have until the fifteenth day ‘of
January, eighteen hundred and seventy-one, in which to make
out return copies of assessment, as required by said act.

2, This act shall be in force from and after its passage.
