Chap. 11.—An ACT to Incorporate the Cappahosic Wharf Company.

1, Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
William C. Stubbs, Schnyler Bland, James N. Stubbs, Joseph
K. Benson, Thomas J. Stubbs, John L. Fox, and John C.
Stubbs, and their successors, shall be and they are hereby in-
corporated and made a body politic and corporate, under the
name and style of The Cappahosic Wharf Company, for the
purpose of erecting a wharf on York river: provided, the
navigation of said river shall not be impeded, nor any private
rights injured thereby. Said company shall be invested with
all the rights, powers, and privileges conferred, and subjected
to all the rules, regulations, and restictions imposed, by the
Code of Virginia and the laws of Virginia now in force, and
such general laws as may be hereafter passed.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
