Chap. 304.—An ACT Providing Compensation for the Clerk of the Hustings
Court of Richmond.
Approved July 11, 1870.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
from and after the second day of May, eighteen hundred and
seventy, the clerk of the hustings court of the city of Rich-
mond shall receive for his services, out of the treasury of the
said city, for services to the public of said city, such sum as
the judge of said court may allow, not exceeding the sum of
eighteen hundred dollars in one year.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
