Chap. 265.-An ACT to Amend and Re-enact Section Two of Chapter-One
Hundred and Sixty-Three of the Code of Virginia (1860), with regard to
Clerks of the Court of Appeals.
Approved July 11, 1870.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the second
section of chapter one hundred and sixty-three of the Code of
Virginia (eighteen hundred and sixty), be amended and re-en-
acted so as to read as follows:
“§ 2. There shall be three clerks of the court of appeals:
one for the said court at Richmond, one for the said court at
Staunton, and one for the said court at Wytheville. The term
of office of each of these clerks shall be six years.”
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
