Chap. 85.—An ACT to amend the 6th seetion of chapter 1458 of the Code
of 1860,as amended by the act passed March vd, 1866. in relation to
the terms of the Cirenit Courts in the First Judicial Circuit.

l. Be it enacted by the eeneral assembly, That the x
section of chapter one hundred and fifty-eight of the Code
eighteen hundred and sixty, as amended by the act vasred
March second, eighteen hundred and sixty-six, entitled an
act amending sections six and fourteen of chapter one hun-
dred and fifty-eight of the Code of cighteen hundred and
sIXty, concerning terms of courts, be further amended and
re-enacted so as to read as follows :

“9G. In every year there shall be two recular terms of
cach cirenuit court (except in the seventh circuit, in which
there shall be held four terms): and the days for the com-
mencement ot the said terms shall be as follows, to wit: In
the first cireuit—for the county of Princess Anne, on the
twenty-fifth day of May and twenty-second day of Septem-
ber: for the county of Norfolk, on the first day of March
and on the first day of September; for the cdunty of Nanse-
mond, on the eighteenth day of April and the twelfth day of
October; for the county of Isle of Wight, on the sixteent
day of May and eighteenth day of October; for the count
of Southampton, on the second day of May and the sevent
day of November; for the county of Greenesville, on th
twenty-eighth day of April and seeond day of November
for the county of Surry, on the tenth day of May and twenty
filth day of October ; for the county of Sussex, on the twenty
fourth day of April and twenty-ninth day of October: fe
the city of Norfolk, on the first day of June and fifteenth day
of November; and for the city of Portsmouth, on the firs
day of April and twenty-cighth day of September.”
