Whereas the assessment on the lands of Emanuel Gerst,
John Coleman and Charles II. Moseley, citizens of Halifax
county, appears to have been erroneous, and they not having
availed themselves of the privilege of correcting it in proper
time before ge county court: Theretore,
lL. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for thé said Emanuel Gerst, John Coleman
and Charles IH. Mosely, at any germ of the county court of Hahi-
fax, in the present vear, to apply t o said court for a reassess-
ment of their lands lying i in the first district in said county;
and the said court may grant such redress as may seem right
and proper in the case.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
