CHAPTER 2

An act to make Fa ote for the support of the Lunatic
Asylums at Williamsburg and Staunton, and of the
Institution for the Deaf, Dumb and the Blind.

Passed June 21st, 1865.

Sxc. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Virginia, That the Governor of this Commonwealth be,
and he is hereby authorized to draw from the treasury of
Virginia, from time to time, such sums as, in his opinion,
shall be necessary to defray the expenses incurred to sup-
port and maintain the Lunatic Asylums at Williamsburg
and Staunton, and the Institution for the Deaf, and the
Dumb and the Blind, for the present year. .

Szo. 2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
