Chap. 40.—An ACT to authorize the trustees of the Christian church
at Lynchburg, Virginia, to borrow money and give a deed of trust.

Approved March 31, 1879.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the trustees of the Christian church at Lynchburg, Virginia, be
and they are hereby authorized to borrow an amount of money
not exceeding five hundred dollars, at a rate of interest not ex-
ceeding eight per centum per annum to pay off the present in-
debtedness of said church, and secure the same by deed of
trust upon the property of the said church.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
