Chap. 265.—An ACT to define the line between the counties of York
and James City through the city of Williamsburg.
Approved March 9, 1880.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That that part of
the dividing line between the counties of York and James City
which passes through the city of Williamsburg shall be changed
in the following manner, to-wit: From that point at which said
dividing line intersects the eastern boundary of the city of
Williamsburg it shall run along the eastern boundary of said
city until it reaches its northern boundary; thence along its
northern and western boundaries to the point of intersection of
said western boundary with the present dividing line between
the two said counties, so as to include in the county of James
City the whole of the city of Williamsburg, and the line here
described shall hereafter be a part of the dividing line between
the said counties of York and James City.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
