CHAP. 195.—An ACT to authorize the trustees of the African Epis-
copal Zion Church, of the city of Petersburg, to borrow money.

Approved February 25, 1880.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
James Allen, Arthur Pointer, S. Henson, Isaiah Coleman,
Peter Creth, M. B. Thomas, James R. Jordan, trustees of the
African Methodist Episcopal Zion church, of the city of Peters-
burg, and their successors in office, be and are hereby author-
ized and empowered to execute one or more deeds of trust on
the property owned by said church in said city, for the pur-
pose of raising a sum of money not exceeding five thousand
dollars, to be used for the completion of said church in the
city of Petersburg.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
