CHAP. 186.—An ACT to authorize the Board of Supervisors of the
county of Frederick to release such interest as Frederick may have
in certain portions of the Public Square in the city of Winchester.

Whereas it is desired by the citizens of the city of Winches-
ter to alter and improve so much of the public square in said
city as lies between Water strect and the Courthéuse avenue
and east of the court-house, and of the lots owned by Rosen-
berger, Gaenslein, and Senseney heirs; and it has been sug-
gested that the county of Frederick hath certain interests in
said public square which should be released to said city in or-
der to make such alterations and improvements— -

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the board of
supervisors of Frederick county be and it is hereby empowered
to release and convey unto the city of Winchester all of the
interest of every kind held by said county in so much of said
public square as lies within the limits hereinbefore described.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
