CHAP. 180.—An ACT to prevent obstruction in Louisa fork of
Sandy river.

ncingdams, 1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That any person
disafork, Placing dams or obstructions of any kind in the Louisa fork of
»amisde- Sandy river, in the state of Virginia, so-as to prevent the free

passage of timber, rafts or boats, at any season of the year,
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction
nalty thereof shall be fined not less than fifty dollars nor more than
structionto five hundred dollars, and the expense, by order of the court,
removed for removing said obstruction.
