CHAP. 165.—An ACT to amend an act entitled an act to refund to
N. Rensch, of Pittsylvania county, a license tax, approved March
28, 1879.
Approved March 4, 1880.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the first sec-
tion of an act approved March twenty-eighth, eighteen hundred
and seventy-nine, entitled an act, and so forth, be amended and
re-enacted so as to read as follows:
§1. That the auditor of public accounts is hereby authorized
and directed to issue his warrant on the treasurer in favor of
N. Rensch, of Pittsylvania county, for the sum of forty-seven
dollars and twenty-four cents, being the amount paid by him
on a license as a bar-room and retail liquor dealer (which privi-
lege was never exercised by him), payable out of any money
in the treasury not otherwise appropriated : provided, that the
auditor of public accounts shall not issue his warrant until the
county court of said county shall certify that the said Rensch
never exercised the privilege conferred upon him by the said
license.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
