CHAP. 156.—An ACT to authorize the Richmond, York River and
Chesapeake railroad to borrow money.
Approved March 4, 1880.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for the Richmond, York River and Chesa-
peake railroad company to issue its bonds to the amount of
five hundred thousand dollars, bearing interest at the Mate of
six per centum per annum, payable semi-annually, and to
Secure the same by a mortgage upon the works, property and
franchises of the said company.
2. This act shall be in force from the date of its passage.
