CHAP. 145.—An ACT to authorize the sale of the Beulah Baptist
Church property in the county of Fairfax and to invest the pro-
ceeds.
Approved March 3, 1880.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
“W.S. Kerns and J. T. Talbut, of the Beulah Baptist church,
in the county of Fairfax, and such other members as may be
associated with them by the laws governing said church, be
and they are hereby authorized’ and empowered to sell and
convey the property now owned by the said church, and to
invest the proceeds of such sale in other property more con-
venient to the members of said church, to be owned and held
for the exclusive use of the Beulah Baptist church, under such
rules and regulations as may be prescribed by the said denom-
ination for its government.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
