CHAP. 135.—An ACT to prevent the sale of liquor to students of the
Hampton Normal and Agricultural Institute.
Approved March 3, 1880.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, ‘That any person
who shall hereafter sell either directly or knowingly indirectly
toany student of the Hampton Normal and Agricultural In-
stitute, alcoholic or malt liquor, shall be guilty of a misde-
meanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less
than twenty nor more than fifty dollars.
2. It shall be the duty of the county court from which the
party convicted under the first section of this act obtained his
license forthwith to revoke the same, and no other license to
sell liquor shall be granted to such party within two years
from the date of said conviction.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
