CHAP. 130.—An ACT to prevent the killing or chasing of deer by
dogs in the counties of Alleghany, Bath, Highland and Rockingham,
from the 25th day of December to the 15th day of August in each
year.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall not be lawful for any person to kill, run or chase deer
in the counties of Alleghany, Bath, Highland and Rockingham,
of this commonwealth, from the twenty-fifth day of December
to the fifteenth day of August in each year.
2. Any person violating this law shall be fined ten dollars
for each offence, to be recovered before any justice of the
peace of said counties, and the fine so recovered to be paid
into the treasuries of said counties to the credit of the school
fund of said counties.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage,
