Chap. 560.—An ACT to prohibit the throwing of sample packages of medicines ir
yards, halls, porches, or doorways in this State.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall be
unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to throw or place, or causc
to be thrown or placed, in any yard, hall, porch, doorway, or vestibule ir
this State, any sample or sample package of medicine without permis.

2. Nothing in this act shall be so construed as to prevent any person.
firm, or corporation from delivery of samples or sample packages of
medicine, if said delivery is made direct to the owner or occupant of any
house, or to any person over twelve years of age.
3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this act shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon convicton thereof shall be
fined not less than five nor more than fifty dollars.
4. This act shall be in force from its passage.
