Chap. 49.—An ACT providing for the erection of a fence around Lee monument,
at Richmond.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the register
of the land office be, and is hereby, directed: to erect an iron or steel fence
around the base of Lee monument at Richmond, and for this purpose the
sum of five hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is
hereby appropriated.
