Chap. 149.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Giles county to sell!
to the trustees of the Baptist church a lot or parcel of land off the county farm
near Ripplemead, Virginia, for the purpose of erecting a church thereon and to
provide for the conveyance of same.
Approved April 14, 1903.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the board of
supervisors of Giles county may sell, at such price as is mutually agreed
on, to the trustees of the Baptist church, a lot or parcel of land off the
county farm, near Ripplemead, in said county, for the purpose of,erecting
a church thereon, and said board, by an order duly made on its record,
may appoint a commissioner to execute and deliver a deed for such parcel
of land as may be sold by virtue of this act, and when said deed is exe-
cuted and delivered it shall pass the legal and equitable title to said parcel
of land to the grantees named therein.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
