Chap. 143.—An ACT to prohibit the manufacture or sale of intoxicating liquors
within two miles of the village of Carson, Dinwidaie county, Virginia.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall be
nlawful for any person, corporation, or co-partnership to manufacture
nd sell, or offer to sell, by sample or representation, or otherwise, any
ine, spirituous or malt liquors, or any mixture thereof, within two
‘les of the village of Carson, in the county of Dinwiddie, Virginia.
2. And no license shall be granted for the manufacture or sale of any
ine, spirituous or malt liquors, or any mixture thereof, within two miles
f the said village as aforesaid.
3. If any person, corporation, or co-partnership violate any of the pro-
‘sions of this act, such person, corporation, or co-partnership shall be
able to all the penalties imposed by the statute laws of this Common-
calth for the sale of ardent spirits without license.
4. This act shall be in force from its passage.
