Chap. 96.—An ACT to provide that in any case where an action of covenant will
lie, an action of assumpsit may be brought.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That in any
case in which an action of covenant will lie, there may be maintained
an action of assumpsit.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
