Chap. 84.—An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 1 and 7 of an act approved
February 28, 1896, entitled an act to Incorporate the Falls Church, Fairtax and
Manassas railway company.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That sections
one and seven of an act approved February twenty -cighth, eighteen hun-

dred and ninety-six, entitled an act to incorporate the Falls Church,
RWoirfay and Manageang railwav eninnany he amended and re-enacted eo
$1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That J. E-.
Willard, J. Mi. Love, RL W. Moore, Job Hawxhurst, F. W. Richardson
and We oP. Moneure, and such other persons as they may associate with
them and their successors and assigns are hereby constituted a body poli-
tie and corporate, in the name and stvle of the Falls Chureh, Fatrfarx and
Manassas rathway company, for the purpose of constructing, equippimg
and operating, either by steam or electricity, a ralroad, frome the town
Of Falls Church to the town of Fairfax, and thence to the town of
Manassas; aud the said COMPLY ix cithorried ta coustruct, equa died operate
etther hy slau or electricity, el railroad from the fowy of harrfas cD (uty patie
ar potuts in the county of bucrfar, or tu the counties of Merandria, Loudoun,
ar Prince William, The sard company shall have the right to change its name
so that it shall he the Fairfar railway company instead of the neine aforesaid,
such change to he made either by the hoard of directors or the stockhold Tes of
the COMPA,

$7. The company shall commence the construction of its raidroad not
later than) January first, nineteen hundred. and complete the construc-
tion of its main dine not later than January first, nineteen hundred and
three.
