Chap. 756.—An ACT for relief of Colonel August Fersberg.

Whereas Colonel August Fersberg, a gallant Confederate soldi
irginia, was a true and gallant soldier during the entire war; was
. Virginia; and
Whereas he is now suffering from the following disabilities—to-v
Disabled as to his hand from wounds received during the war,
red and infirm: therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the c
ition court of Lynchburg, Virginia, shall examine into the conditi
1e above-named Colonel August Fersberg, a wounded Confederat
ier; and should it be that he was true and loyal to Virginia throug
ar, and that he is now afflicted and incapacitated for manual lat
result of said wounds; that he is needy and poor, and should re
id from Virginia, and if the corporation court of Lynchburg should
certificate of the facts to the auditor of public accounts of Virginia,

ugust Fersberg on the pension list, and pay him annually the st
