Chap. 440.—An ACT to relieve the Baltimore, Cincinnati and Westein railw
-ompany from any forfeiture which may have accrued from failure to co
mence and complete its railway within the time limited in its act of incorpo
tion and subsequent acts of assembly amending the same, and to extend t
time within which the said company may commence and complete its railw
in this state.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the Bal
ore, Cincinnati and Western railway company be, and is hereby, 1
ved of any forfeiture of its franchises, rights and privileges whi
ay have accrued from failure to commence and complete the constru
yn of its railway within the time limited in its act of incorporati
d in subsequent acts of the general assembly of Virginia amendi
e same; and that the time for commencement of the cunstruction
e said railway in this state is hereby extended to one year from t!
ssage of this act, and the time for the completion of said railroad
is state is hereby extended to five years thereafter.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
