Chap. 320.—An ACT to authorize and empower the county court and the boarc
of supervisors of Rappahannock county to grant the right to erect a monumen
to the Confefederate dead of said county on the public square.

Approved February 12, 1898.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the county
court and the board of supervisors of Rappahannock county be, anc
they are hereby, authorized and empowered to grant the right to erec’
a@ monument to the Confederate dead of said county, on the public
square, and to carry out such purpose said court and board of supervi
sors may enter such order or orders on their records as may be deemec
necessary.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
