Chap. 78.—An ACT to extend the time of commencing construction of the
Northwest and Southeast railroad.

Approved January 24, 1894.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That an act
toamend and re-enact an act, approved March first, eighteen hun-
dred and ninety-two, entitled an act to amend section eight of an act
approved March fourth, eighteen hundred and ninety, entitled an
act to incorporate the Northwest and Southeast railroad company,
extending the time for commencing the construction of said railroad
and authorizing the company to begin work in any of the counties
named in said act, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as
follows:
8 8. The time at which work shall begin on the Northwest anc
sutheast railroad is hereby extended for two years from the firs
ay of February, eighteen hundred and ninety-four, and shall be
ympleted within five years from ‘its commencement; and said com
any 18 authorized to begin the work of construction in any one 0:
e counties named in the act of incorporation.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
