Chap. 762,—An ACT for the protection of game in Floyd county.
Approved March 7, 1894.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it
shall not be lawful to kill or capture partridges in the county of
Floyd between the fifteenth day of January and first day of October
of any year, nor kill or capture pheasants or wild turkeys between
the first day of March and the first day of October, and it shall not
be lawful to kill or capture partridges, pheasants or wild turkeys at
any time to be sold, shipped or taken out of the county, nor to catch
the same with nets or traps, nor to take or destroy their eggs.
2. Any person who shal! violate any provision of this act shall be
fined not less than twenty dollars nor more than one hundred dol-
lars, and upon conviction shal] be committed to jail by the justice
or judge presiding at the trial until the fine and costs are paid.
3. All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this act are hereby
repealed.
4. This act shall be in force from its passage.
