Chap. 57.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act approved February 29, 1892,
incorporating the Elizabeth and Pasquotank railway company.
Approved January 22, 1894.
Whereas the general assembly of the state of North Carolina, by
an act approved March the first, eighteen hundred and ninety-three,
did fully and completely ratify the act of the legislature of Virginia
incorporating the Elizabeth and Pasquotank railway company, with
the following modification, viz.: ‘That work or some act looking to
the completion of said enterprise shall be commenced within four
years, and the said enterprise be completed within eight years.”
Now, therefore, the general assembly of Virginia does enact that the
above entitled act incorporating the Elizabeth and Pasquotank rail-
way company, approved February twenty-ninth, eighteen hundred
ind ninety-two, be re-enacted and amended so that work or some act
looking to the completion of said enterprise shall be commenced
within four years from March first, eighteen hundred and ninety-
three, and that said enterprise be completed within eight vears from
said March first, eighteen hundred and ninety-three.
