Chap. 527.—An ACT authorizing the board of supervisors of Bath county to
allow increased compensation to the commissioners of the revenue of said
county.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
board of supervisors of Bath county be, and they hereby are, author-
ized and empowered to allow annually out of the county funds to
the commissioners of the revenue of the said county additional com-
pensation, over and above that now provided by law, to an amount
not exceeding for such additional compensation one per centum
upon the taxes lawfully assessed by said commissioners on persons,
on real and personal property, income and salaries within the pre-
ceding twelve months.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
