Chap. 523.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Highland county
to increase the levy for district free school purposes in Stonewall district, in
said county, to a sum not exceeding twenty cents on the hundred dullars of
the taxable values of said district.
Approved March 1, 1894.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
board of supervisors of Highland county is hereby authorized and
empowered, if in its discretion it sees proper so to do, to levy a tax
upon the property of Stonewall district, in said county, not to exceed
twenty cents on the hundred dollars of the assessed value of the tax-
able property of said district, to be used for public free school pur-
poses in said district according to law.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
