Chap. 360.—An ACT to empower the trustees of the district school board of
Gill’s creek school district, Franklin county, to use any surplus county public
school funds belonging to said district for the purpose of purchasing or
erecting buildings for school purposes, or discharging any indebtedness of
the said district.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
board of trustees of Gill’s creek school district, of Franklin county,
be, and they are hereby, authorized and empowered to use and de-
vote any surplus county public school funds belonging to said dis-
trict, now in hand or which may be in hand within five years
from the passage of this act, for the purpose of paying off the in-
debtedness of said district, or of erecting and repairing public school-
houses-in said district.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
