Chap. 345.—An ACT requiring the co rporation court of the city of Norfolk to
hold monthly terms for the trial of all causes and matters cognizable by said
court.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That there
shall be a term of the corporation court of the city of Norfolk held
for each month in the year, except that the judge thereof may omit
the term to be held for the month of September. The said term
shall begin, as provided by law, on the first Monday in each month,
and shall continue as long as the business of the court may require,
and shall be for the trial or hearing of any cause or matter cogniza-
ble by said court.
2. All acts or parts of acts inconsistent with this act are hereby re-
pealed.
8. This act shall be in force from the first day of January, in the
year eighteen hundred and ninety-five.
