Chap. 312.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act passed March 4, 1871, and
March 20, 1871, declaring Robinson river and Rapidan river, in Madison
county, to be a lawful fence.
Approved February 20, 18%.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
Robinson river, in Madison county, from Russell’s ford, to the ford
just above James French’s, on said river, be, and the same 1s hereby,
declared a lawful fence.
2. That White-oak run, in Madison county, from its mouth to
Crigler’s first water-rack, and lands adjacent thereto, to the extent of
one hundred yards from the banks of said stream, be, and the same
is hereby, declared a lawful fence.
3. That the Rapidan river, in Madison county, from Booton’s
water-rack to Dry Point, above Grans’ mill, on said river, be, and the
same is hereby, declared a lawful fence.
4. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act are hereby
repealed.
5. This act shall be in force from its passage.
