Chap. 258.—An ACT to amend chapter 218 of the acts of 1887-88, touching th
killing of partridges in the counties of Clarke and Warren, as amended b
chapter 47 of the acts of 1889-’90.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That an ac
approved February twenty-fourth, eighteen hundred and eighty
eight, entitled an act to prescribe the time for killing partridges 1
the county of Accomac and certain other counties, as amended b'
an act approved January fourteenth, eighteen hundred and ninety
be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
That it shall not be lawful to kill or capture partridges in the
counties of Accomac, Northampton, Smyth, Franklin, Bedford, Am.
herst, Augusta and Washington between the first day of February
and the first day of November in each year, and in the county 0!
Clarke it shall not be lawful to kill or capture partridges in apy
manner prior to October thirty-first, eighteen hundred and ninety-
five, and thereafter in the county of Clarke it shall not be lawful
to kill or capture partridges except between October thirty-first
and December twenty-fifth, inclusive, of each year; and it shall be
unlawful to kill or capture partridges in the county of Warren ex-
cept between October thirty-first and December twenty-fifth, inclu-
sive, of each year.
2, All acts and parts of acts inconsistent herewith are hereby re-
pealed.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
