Chap. 23.—An ACT to validate and confirm all acts, contracts and proceedings
under the charter of the Virginia trust company, heretofore styled “The
Virginia safe deposit and fidelity company,” prior to the payment of the fee
on its charter, with the same effect as if the said fee had been paid immedi-
ately upon the passage of the act of March 4, 1890, incorporating said com-
pany.
Approved January 8, 1894.
Whereas by an act approved March fourth, eighteen hundred and
ninety, & corporation was chartered by the general assembly of Vir-

done by or in relation to said corporation, and all contracts made by
or with said corporation prior to the payment of said fee, are hereby
confirmed and declared to be legal and valid, with the same effect
and to the same extent as they would have been if the said fee had
been paid immediately upon the passage of the said act of March
fourth, eighteen hundred and ninety, incorporating said company.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
