Chap. 223.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 10 of an act approved Jan-
lary 15, 1890, entitled an act to incorporate the Portsmouth and Smithfield
ailway company, as amended by an act approved February 16, 1892.

Approved February 12, 1894.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
1 of an act entitled an act to incorporate the Portsmouth and
lithfield railway company, approved January fifteenth, eighteen
ndred and ninety, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as
lows:

‘10. The said company is required to commence the construction
its roads within two years from the first day of March, eighteen
dred and ninety-four, and to complete the same within five years
om the date of commencement.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
