Chap. 221.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 3426 of the code of Vir-
ginia of 1887, in relation to interlocutory decrees and orders.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That sec-
ion thirty-four hundred and twenty-six of the code of Virginia of
‘ighteen hundred and eighty-seven be amended and re-enacted so as
fo read as follows:
§ 3426. On the motion of any party to a chancery cause pending
a circuit court, on reasonable notice to the adverse party or his
‘ounsel, the judge of such court may, in vacation, make any inter-
ocutory decree or order, or direct any proceedings therein prepara-
‘ory to the hearing of the cause on the merits; and may, also, after
ike notice to the adverse party or his counsel and to the purchaser,
make an order confirming or refusing to confirm a sale made under
1 decree in any such cause, and in case of a refusal to confirm the sale,
he judge may order a resale. In all cases of a confirmation the
udge shall have the authority to make all orders necessary to carry
he same into effect.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
