Chap. 20.—An ACT to empower the Day’s Point land and improvement com-
pany to erect a wharf on James river, in the county of Isle of Wight.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
Day’s Point land and improvement company be, and they are hereby,
empowered to erect a wharf in front of their lands on James river.
in the county of Isle of Wight, known as Day’s Point, extending
into said river to navigable water: provided said wharf shall be
subject to laws relating to wharves erected in the waters of the com-
monwealth.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
