Chap. 142.—An ACT to allow W. B. Bailey to erect a wharf at Kinsale, in the
county of Westmoreland, on the Yeocomico river.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That W. B.
Bailey, of the county of Westmoreland, be, and hereby is, author-
ized to erect a wharf at Kinsale, in the county of Westmoreland, on
the Yeocomico river, at any point on his own land, subject to all the
laws of the state governing all wharves erected on the waters of the
commonwealth: and provided, also, that this act shall at all times
be under the control of the general assembly, and be amended or
repealed, as may be deemed proper: and provided, further, that noth-
ing herein contained shall be construed to give the said W. B. Bailey
any right to extend his wharf beyond the boundary line of his own
land, so that any of the water-front of the adjacent property shall
be encroached on or covered by said wharf.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
