Chap. 128.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 8 of the act entitled an act
to incorporate the Pittsburgh and Virginia railroad company, approved March
8, 1884,as amended by chapter 281 of the acts of the general assembly of Vir-
ginia, passed at its session of 1887-’88, and as further amended by chapter 685
of the acts of the general assembly of Virginia, passed at the session of
1891-92.
Approved February 1, 1894.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
eight of the act entitled an act to incorporate the Pittsburgh and
Virginia railroad company, as amended by the act entitled an act
to amend section eight of the act entitled an act to incorporate the
Pittsburgh and Virginia railroad company, as amended by the act
approved February twenty-fourth, eighteen hundred and eighty-eight,
entitled an act to amend and re-enact section eight of the act ap-
proved March third, eighteen hundred and eighly-four, entitled an
act to incorporate the Pittsburgh and Virginia railroad company, ap-
proved March third, eighteen hundred and ninety-two, be amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
8 8. Said company, or its successor, shall begin the work of con-
structing its railroad within two years from the date of the comple-
tion of the surveys it shall make for the location of its line in this
state, and shall complete its main line within this state within five
years from the completion of the said surveys and the location of its
said main line in this state.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
