Chap. 105.—An ACT to authorize the treasurer of Charlotte county to postpone
sale of lands for taxes delinquent in the year 1892.
Approved January 30, 1894.
Whereas the financial condition of Charlotte county is such that the
treasurer of said county deems it impracticable and disadvantageous,
alike to the tax-payers and the treasury of the commonwealth of
Virginia, to sell lands delinquent for taxes due for the year eighteen
hundred and ninety-two, at the time authorized by law, and he
deems it for the best interests of the county and state that the sale
be postponed until May court-day, eighteen hundred and ninety-
four: therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That E. F.
Daniel, treasurer of Charlotte county, be authorized to postpone the
sale of lands in Charlotte county for taxes delinquent thereon in
the year eighteen hundred and ninety-two, until the first day of the
May term of Charlotte county court, eighteen hundred and ninety-
four.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
