Chap. 100.—An ACT to authorize the payment to George E. Sangster, late
sheriff of Fairfax county, of the sum of forty dollars.

Approved January 30, 1894.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
uditor of public accounts is hereby directed to draw his warrant on
1e treasurer, payable out of any funds not otherwise appropriated,
1 favor of George E. Sangster, late sheriff of Fairfax county, for the
im of forty dollars, being the amount expended by the said Sangs-
‘r for the recapture of William Jones, a prisoner indicted for a
‘}onious offence, who escaped from the jail of said county.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
