Chap. 89.—An ACT to fix the times for holding the terms of the
corporation court of the city of Charlottesville, and the trial of
appeals from magistrates in the same.
Approved January 26, 1892.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the terms of the corporation court of the city of
Charlottesville, shall be held on the third Monday in each
month, except July or August, as the judge of said court
may deem best.
2. The judge of said court may, from time to time,
change the day for the commencement of said terms
thereof, or any of them, and the clerk of said court shall
thereupon notify the clerk of the house of delegates
according to law.
3. Appeals from magistrates may be tried by the judge
of said court at any term of said court.
4. All acts or parts of acts inconsistent with this act are
hereby repealed.
5. This act shall be in force from its passage.
