Chap. 730.—An ACT requiring persons desiring license to sel!
spirituous or malt liquors in the counties of Wythe, Giles
Bland and Pulaski, to post notice of intention to make applica-
tion for licenses, in front of court-house and other places.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia
That all persons desiring to obtain license to sell spiritu
ous or malt liquors in the counties of Wythe, Bland, Pu
laski and Giles, shall be required to post written or
printed notices at not less than three public places in the
vicinity of where they propose to sell such liquors, for
fifteen days previously, stating where they propose to sell
such liquors, and when and where they intend making ap-
plication for license to sell the same, and such persons
proposing in the said counties or county shall also be re-
quired to post such notice for the same time on the front
of the court-house of said county or counties where such
liquors are proposed to be sold, and no license shall be
granted until it has been shown by satisfactory proof that
such notices have been posted.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
