Chap. 707.—An ACT to provide for the printing and distribu
tion of the school laws and regulations of the school board o
the state of Virginia.

Whereas it is desirable, for the more efficient and suc
ssful”operation of the free-school system of the state o

Virginia, that the school laws and regulations of the board
of education of the state should be printed in a conve-
nient form and distributed among the school trustees and
other school officials; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the superintendent of public printing is directed to
bave printed, pursuant to the instructions and directions
of the board of education, the school laws and regulations
of the board of education of the state. The copies of
these laws and regulations, so printed, he shall distribute
among the school trustees of the state and such other
persons as may be indicated by the board aforesaid.
2. That the auditor of public accounts, on presentation
of the accounts of the superintendent of public printing,
approved by the board of education, shall issue warrants
on the treasurer for the payment thereof.
3. That the sum of two hundred dollars, or so much
thereof as may be necessary for the settlement of the
expenses of the printing and distribution aforesaid, is
hereby appropriated out of any money in the treasury not
otherwise appropriated.
4. This act shall be in force from its passage.
