Chap. 57.—An ACT for the relief of M. W. Jones, treasurer of
Clarke county.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That M. W. Jones, treasurer of Clarke county, may, within
one year from the passage of this act, distrain for and
collect any uncollected tax tickets still in his hands and
not returned delinquent: provided, however, the provis-
10ns of this act shall only extend to taxes due and unpaid
for the years eighteen hundred and eighty-seven, eighteen
hundred and eighty-eight, eighteen hundred and eighty-
nine, and eighteen hundred and ninety.

2. This act shall be in force from its paseage.
