CHAP. 543.—An ACT to authorize the clerk of Radford school
board to take a census of Radford district.

Approved March 1, 1892.

Whereas by the passage of an act incorporating Radford
city there was brought into the Radford school district a
large number of children between the ages of five and
twenty-one years; therefore,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the clerk of the Radford district school board during
the month of June or July, eighteen hundred and ninety-
two, shall take a census of all persons between the ages of
five and twenty-one years residing within the schoo} dis-
trict, and gather statistics relating to the interest of edu-
cation in said district, according to the form furnished by
the superintendent of public instruction; and in so doing
the said clerk shall be governed and be paid according to
section fourteen hundred and sixty-two of the code of eigh-
teen hundred and eighty-seven.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
